01 Overview

Vidaraa offers a Lifetime Pro license for our browser extensions and tools at a one-time payment of $29. This is a digital product delivered instantly via license key upon purchase through Gumroad.

Short version: We offer a free trial so you can test before buying. Because our product is digital and delivered instantly, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if something goes wrong on our end β€” like a failed activation we can’t fix β€” we will work with you fairly and promptly.

We encourage all users to take advantage of the free trial before purchasing to ensure the product meets your needs. This policy exists to protect both you and us from abuse while ensuring genuine issues are always resolved.

02 Digital Products Policy

Vidaraa sells digital products β€” specifically, software licenses delivered electronically. Under most consumer protection laws and digital commerce regulations, digital products that have been accessed, downloaded or consumed are generally exempt from standard return and refund rights.

This is because:

  • The product (a license key) is delivered instantly and electronically at the time of purchase
  • Once a license key is issued, the product has been fully delivered and can be used immediately
  • Unlike physical goods, digital licenses cannot be “returned” β€” once issued, the information cannot be taken back
  • The nature of software licenses means that use cannot be undone once the product has been accessed

By completing a purchase on Vidaraa, you acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing a digital product and that your right to a refund is limited as described in this policy.

03 General No-Refund Policy

All sales of Vidaraa Lifetime Pro licenses are final and non-refundable as a general rule. We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Deciding you no longer need the product
  • Purchasing the wrong product by mistake (please read the product description carefully before buying)
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described before purchase
  • Incompatibility with your device or browser that could have been identified during the free trial
  • Failure to use the product after purchase
  • Requests made after the 7-day window from the date of purchase

We strongly recommend using the free trial to test all features before purchasing. The free trial is specifically provided so you can verify the product works for your needs before committing to a purchase.

04 Eligible Refund Situations

We will consider and process refund requests in the following specific circumstances:

4.1 Duplicate Purchase

If you were charged more than once for the same product due to a technical error (e.g. a payment processing glitch), we will refund the duplicate charge in full. Please contact us with both order confirmation details.

4.2 License Key Not Delivered

If you completed payment but did not receive your license key via email or on the Gumroad confirmation page, and we are unable to resend or resolve the issue within 7 days of your purchase, you are eligible for a full refund.

Before requesting a refund for this reason, please:

  • Check your spam or junk mail folder
  • Verify the email address used during checkout
  • Contact us at support@vidaraa.com so we can attempt to resend your key

4.3 Activation Failure We Cannot Resolve

If your license key is valid but activation consistently fails due to a verified bug or technical fault on our end, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 7 days of your first support request, you are eligible for a full refund.

This does not apply to activation failures caused by user error (e.g. entering the wrong email address or license key). Our support team will help you troubleshoot activation issues before a refund is considered.

4.4 Product Fundamentally Not as Described

If the product you purchased is fundamentally and materially different from what was described on our website at the time of purchase β€” not merely a difference in preference or expectation β€” you may be eligible for a refund. We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis.

4.5 Unauthorised Transaction

If you believe a purchase was made using your payment method without your authorisation, please contact both us and Gumroad immediately. We will cooperate fully with any investigation.

05 Non-Eligible Situations

The following situations are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:

  • Requests submitted more than 7 days after the date of purchase
  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse
  • Issues that could have been identified during the free trial period
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described before purchase
  • Activation failures caused by user error (wrong email, wrong key, etc.) that our support team has resolved or offered to resolve
  • Accounts or licenses terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Requests where the license key has been shared with or used by multiple users in violation of our Terms
  • Requests based on future feature expectations not explicitly promised by us
  • Technical issues caused by your device, browser, operating system or internet connection

06 Free Trial β€” Test Before You Buy

We offer a free trial specifically so you can test the product before purchasing. Please use it. This is the best way to ensure the product meets your needs before committing to a purchase.

Our free trial allows you to:

  • Install and use the extension in your Firefox browser
  • Test the core download functionality with a limited number of downloads
  • Verify compatibility with your device and browser version
  • Evaluate the user interface and overall experience
  • Confirm the product works as described before spending any money

Because a free trial is available, we consider most compatibility and functionality concerns to be addressable before purchase. Refund requests based on issues that were testable during the free trial will generally not be approved.

07 How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria in Section 4, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact us at support@vidaraa.com within 7 days of your purchase date
  • Step 2: Use the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Order ID]”
  • Step 3: Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name
    • The email address used for the Gumroad purchase
    • Your Gumroad order ID or receipt number
    • The date of purchase
    • A clear description of the issue and why you are requesting a refund
    • Any relevant screenshots or error messages (if applicable)
  • Step 4: Allow us up to 3 business days to review your request and respond

Incomplete refund requests (missing order details or description) may be delayed or declined. We will always try to resolve your issue before processing a refund β€” in many cases, we can fix the problem faster than a refund can be processed.

08 Refund Process & Timeline

8.1 Review Period

Once we receive your refund request with all required information, we will review it within 3 business days and respond with our decision.

8.2 Approval

If your refund is approved, we will initiate the refund through Gumroad. You will receive a confirmation email from Gumroad once the refund has been processed.

8.3 Processing Time

Approved refunds typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Some payment methods may take longer.

8.4 License Revocation

Upon approval of a refund, your Lifetime Pro license will be revoked immediately. You will no longer have access to Pro features after the refund is processed.

8.5 Communication

We will keep you informed throughout the process. If we need additional information to process your request, we will contact you at the email address you provided.

09 Partial Refunds

In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a partial refund at our sole discretion. This may apply in situations where:

  • A specific feature was not working as described but the rest of the product functioned correctly
  • There was a pricing error and you were overcharged
  • We determine that a partial refund is the fairest resolution for both parties

Partial refunds are not a standard offering and are evaluated entirely on a case-by-case basis. We will always communicate clearly about any partial refund offer before processing it.

10 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at support@vidaraa.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. In most cases, we can resolve issues faster and more effectively than a formal dispute process.

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us:

  • Your Pro license will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • We reserve the right to contest the chargeback with evidence of product delivery and usage
  • Your account may be permanently banned from future purchases

Fraudulent chargebacks (where the product was delivered and used as described) may be reported to relevant authorities and payment networks. We take fraud seriously and will take appropriate action to protect our business.

If you have a legitimate concern, please reach out to us first β€” we are always willing to work with you to find a fair resolution.

11 License After Refund

Upon processing a refund β€” whether full or partial β€” the following applies:

  • Your Lifetime Pro license key will be immediately deactivated
  • You will lose access to all Pro features with immediate effect
  • You may continue to use the free tier of the product
  • The refunded license key cannot be reactivated or reused
  • You may purchase a new license in the future if you wish to regain Pro access

We will notify you by email when your license has been revoked following a refund.

12 Gumroad & Payment Processing

All Vidaraa purchases are processed by Gumroad, a third-party payment platform. Gumroad handles all payment transactions, receipts and refund processing on our behalf.

Important points regarding Gumroad:

  • Your payment details are handled entirely by Gumroad β€” we never see or store your card information
  • Refunds are initiated by us through Gumroad’s platform and processed by Gumroad
  • Gumroad’s own refund and dispute policies may also apply to your purchase
  • For issues with the payment itself (e.g. double charge at the payment processor level), you may also contact Gumroad support directly

13 Currency & Fees

All Vidaraa purchases are priced in US Dollars (USD). If you purchase in a different currency, the amount charged will be converted by your bank or payment provider at their applicable exchange rate.

Refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction. We are not responsible for:

  • Currency conversion losses or gains between the time of purchase and refund
  • Bank fees, foreign transaction fees or other charges applied by your financial institution
  • Differences in the refunded amount due to exchange rate fluctuations

The refunded amount will be the original purchase price in USD. Any currency conversion is handled by your bank or Gumroad and is outside our control.

14 Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.

The refund policy that applies to your purchase is the policy in effect at the time of your purchase. We recommend saving or printing a copy of this policy at the time of purchase for your records.
