Yes — the vast majority of Vidaraa’s tools are completely free with no sign-up required. Some tools offer a free tier with limited usage and a Pro tier with unlimited access. Our browser extensions also offer a free trial so you can test before purchasing.

No. You can use all free tools without creating an account or providing any personal information. An email address is only required when activating a Pro license for our browser extensions.

No. The vast majority of our tools process your data entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you input — text, images, files — is uploaded to our servers. Your data stays on your device. Some tools that require live data (like currency converters) make API calls to fetch rates, but your input is never sent.

We design our tools to produce accurate and reliable results. However, tool outputs should be treated as estimates or starting points. For critical decisions — especially in medical, financial or legal contexts — always verify results with a qualified professional. Our tools are designed to help, not to replace expert judgement.

Yes. All Vidaraa tools are fully responsive and work on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. No app download required — just open your browser and use them.

Most tools require an internet connection to load the page initially. Once loaded, many tools (especially those that process data locally) will continue to work even if your connection drops. Tools that require live data (currency rates, etc.) need an active connection.

Free tools are provided for personal, non-commercial use. If you wish to use our tools commercially, please contact us at support@vidaraa.com to discuss licensing options.

First, try refreshing the page and clearing your browser cache. If the issue persists, try a different browser. If it still doesn’t work, please contact us at support@vidaraa.com with details of the issue, your browser and operating system. We fix bugs quickly.

Currently, the Vidaraa – YouTube Video Downloader is available for Firefox. We may expand to other browsers in the future. Stay tuned for updates.

Visit the Firefox Add-ons store and search for “Vidaraa YouTube Video Downloader”, or click the install button on our extension page. Click “Add to Firefox” and confirm the installation. The extension will appear in your Firefox toolbar immediately.

You can download videos in up to 4K Ultra HD (2160p), Full HD (1080p), HD (720p), and lower resolutions. You can also extract audio as MP3 at up to 320kbps. Available qualities depend on what the original video was uploaded in.

Currently we support MP4 and MKV for video, and MP3 for audio. These formats play on virtually all devices and media players. More formats are planned for future updates.

No. All download processing happens entirely on your device. We do not monitor, record or transmit your browsing activity or download history. The only network request the extension makes on your behalf is license verification when you activate Pro — and even then, only your email and license key are checked.

Yes. The extension supports downloading YouTube Shorts just like regular videos — same quality options, same speed.

Playlist and batch download support is available with a Pro license. With the free trial, you can download individual videos. Upgrade to Pro to unlock playlist and channel downloads.

YouTube occasionally updates its platform in ways that can temporarily affect extensions. We monitor for these changes and push updates as quickly as possible. Make sure your extension is updated to the latest version in Firefox. If the issue persists after updating, contact us at support@vidaraa.com.

The extension is a technical tool. Its legality depends entirely on how you use it. Downloading content you own, content in the public domain, or content you have permission to download is generally acceptable. Downloading copyrighted content without permission may violate copyright law and YouTube’s Terms of Service. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their downloads comply with applicable laws. We do not support or condone copyright infringement.

Yes. We offer a free trial with limited downloads so you can test the extension before purchasing. We strongly recommend using the free trial to verify the extension works for your needs before buying Pro.

No. The Lifetime Pro plan is a single one-time payment. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions or automatic renewals. You will never be charged again.

No. All future updates, new features and improvements are included in your Lifetime Pro license at no additional cost. When we add new features, you get them automatically.

Your Pro license is for personal use by a single user. You can use it on your own devices (e.g. your home computer and laptop), but you may not share your license key with other people. Sharing licenses violates our Terms of Service and may result in revocation.

You can purchase the Lifetime Pro license from our Upgrade to Pro page. The purchase is processed securely through Gumroad.

Click the “Upgrade to Pro” or “Get Lifetime Pro” button on our extension page. You’ll be taken to a secure Gumroad checkout. Enter your email and payment details, complete the $29 payment, and your license key will be shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you instantly.

First, check your spam or junk mail folder. If it’s not there, contact us at support@vidaraa.com with your Gumroad order ID and the email used for purchase. We’ll resend your key promptly.

Payments are processed by Gumroad, which accepts major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal and other methods depending on your region. We do not handle payment details directly.

Due to the digital nature of our product, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we will consider refund requests in specific situations — such as a duplicate charge, non-delivery of the license key, or an activation failure we cannot resolve. Requests must be made within 7 days of purchase. See our full Refund Policy for details.

Contact us immediately at support@vidaraa.com with both order confirmation details. Duplicate charges are eligible for a full refund and we will process it as quickly as possible.

Yes. All payments are processed by Gumroad, a trusted and secure payment platform. Your payment details are entered directly on Gumroad’s encrypted checkout — we never see or store your card information.

We collect very little data. For free tool users, we collect no personal data at all. For Pro license holders, we store your email address and license key for verification purposes only. We never sell, share or monetise your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We use a minimal number of cookies — only what’s necessary for the website to function. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies or cross-site tracking. Some preference settings may be stored in your browser’s local storage, which never leaves your device.

No. The extension does not monitor, record or transmit your browsing activity. It only activates on YouTube pages when you interact with it. No background tracking occurs.

Yes. You can request deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us at support@vidaraa.com. We will process your request within 30 days. Note that deleting your license record will deactivate your Pro license.

Yes. We take GDPR compliance seriously. We collect minimal data, process it lawfully, give users rights over their data, and do not transfer data outside appropriate safeguards. See our Privacy Policy for full details including your rights as an EU/EEA user.

After purchasing, follow these steps:

• Open Firefox and go to YouTube
• Click the Vidaraa extension icon in your toolbar
• Click Settings
• Click Activate Pro
• Enter the email address used for your Gumroad purchase
• Enter the license key from your Gumroad confirmation
• Click Activate Pro — your Pro access activates instantly

If you have trouble, contact us at support@vidaraa.com.

Make sure you’re entering the exact email address used during your Gumroad purchase (check for typos or extra spaces). Copy and paste the license key directly from your email rather than typing it manually. If it still doesn’t work, contact us at support@vidaraa.com with your order details and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Firefox updates extensions automatically. You can also manually check for updates by going to Firefox menu → Add-ons and Themes → find Vidaraa → click the gear icon → Check for Updates. We recommend keeping the extension updated to ensure the best performance and compatibility.

Download speed depends primarily on your internet connection and the size of the video. 4K files can be very large (1GB+). Try downloading at a lower quality if speed is a concern. Make sure no other large downloads are running simultaneously. If speeds are consistently very slow, contact us.

We support the current and recent versions of Firefox. We recommend keeping Firefox updated to the latest version for the best experience and security. If you’re on an older version and experiencing issues, try updating Firefox first.

Yes, you will need to re-enter your email and license key after reinstalling. Your license is permanent — just go to Settings → Activate Pro and enter your details again. Your license key is in your original Gumroad purchase confirmation email.

This usually happens due to a network issue or VPN interference. Follow these steps:

• Close your browser completely and reopen it
• If you are using a VPN, please disable it — VPNs can interfere with how the extension fetches video information
• Wait 5–10 minutes, then open YouTube and try downloading again
• Make sure your internet connection is stable

This should resolve the issue in most cases. Please do not use a VPN while downloading — it is the most common cause of this problem.

If the popup is still stuck loading after following these steps, contact us at support@vidaraa.com and we’ll help you fix it.

If the download button isn’t appearing on YouTube video pages, try the following:

• Close your browser completely and reopen it
• If you are using a VPN, disable it — VPNs can prevent the extension from loading correctly on YouTube pages
• Wait 5–10 minutes, then revisit the YouTube video page
• Make sure the extension is enabled — go to Firefox menu → Add-ons and Themes and check that Vidaraa is turned on
• Try refreshing the YouTube page after the extension loads

Avoid using a VPN when downloading — it is the most frequent cause of the button not appearing.
